The covers are now off at 64 Marine Parade Southport.
Last Wednesday night Zupp Property Group officially re-launched the refurbished 9-story building as Zupp Place, which they have branded ‘Southport’s Premier Business Address’. It is hard to argue against the claim. The building was purchased in 2014 and has since undergone extensive capital works including replacement of air-conditioning plant, lifts, life safety equipment and the refurbishment of interior and exterior spaces throughout – even the footpath was re-laid. The whole building looks brand new and has set a new benchmark for landlords looking to attract or retain discerning local and international tenants.
Local elected officials Dawn Crichlow and Rob Molhoek attended an evening function with the Group’s founders, iconic Gold Coast residents John and Wendy Zupp, together with the building’s tenants, suppliers and contractors.
To formally mark the occasion, Councillor Crichlow switched on a new lighting display which is now a feature of the Broadwater skyline each evening. The new lighting system comprises a synchronised LED platform on the roof, strips around the building’s handrails and stairs and wall-washer lights called ‘big berthas’. The combinations of lighting effects are limited only by the imagination and will be used to highlight important days such as Australia Day (green & gold), Breast Cancer Awareness Week (pink) and the State of Origin Series (maroon, of course). Zupp Property Group are also keen to collaborate with the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre (located directly opposite) during the imminent Gold Coast Commonwealth Games– maybe gold when an Aussie wins during an evening event. The lighting feature builds on the Group’s existing ‘light tower’ prominently situated on the M1 at Helensvale North.
Suggestions for lighting combinations and themes can be made on the group’s email at: lights@zuppproperty.com.au.
